This bracelet is composed as a material-led piece, built around rare and contrasting forms of Hetian jade, with an emphasis on texture, weight, and restraint rather than symmetry.
At its core are melon-shaped beads of Xinjiang Qiemo blue Hetian jade, valued for their cool undertone and dense, stone-deep presence. Their muted blue tone carries a grounded calm — understated, enduring, and quietly confident.
The composition is interspersed with old amber, offering warmth and time-worn translucency, alongside a carefully balanced sequence of Hetian jade elements:
a light sugar-tone square clasp, a green jasper Peace Disc, a black jade Peace Ring, and an organic freeform white jade bead. Each element is distinct, yet held in equilibrium through proportion and spacing.
Textural contrast is introduced through Ruyi Bodhi seeds, their natural surface adding tactility and rhythm. Hand-wrapped 925 sterling silver wire beads and a solid sterling silver floral barrel anchor the bracelet with weight and clarity.
