This bracelet was not designed in a hurry.

It began with two vintage orange-red beads, collected by chance — beautifully aged, smooth to the touch, and full of character. Their quality was undeniable, yet for a long time, the right material to connect them simply did not appear.

Until one quiet moment — bamboo came to mind.

Digging through old collections, the designer found exactly what the piece had been waiting for: vintage bamboo nail beads (满钉竹节珠). At that instant, everything aligned.

At the heart of the bracelet sits a hand-carved green jade bead, decorated with a scrolling lotus vine motif (缠枝莲) — a traditional symbol of continuity, harmony, and quiet strength. The two orange-red vintage beads gently cradle the jade centerpiece, while the full circle of bamboo nail beads is accented with green jade spacers.

The result is bold yet restrained.

Vivid orange meets deep green — expressive, confident — while the bamboo beads ground the piece with calm, understated elegance.

A rare balance: statement and subtlety, both at once.
