This bracelet draws its inspiration from a famous verse by Yang Wanli, a poet of China’s Southern Song Dynasty, capturing the breathtaking scene of West Lake in midsummer.
Crafted in July, at the height of lotus season, this piece translates poetry into form and colour.
Deep, saturated dark green jadeite beads evoke the endless lotus leaves reaching toward the sky, while a single red jade (Hong Fei) carved bead emerges like a lotus flower cradled by green leaves — vivid, warm, and quietly powerful.
At the centre sits an antique-style 925 silver plaque, intricately carved with lotus and egret motifs. In Chinese symbolism, this pairing represents “integrity and success along one’s path” (一路清廉，一路连科) — a blessing for moral clarity, upright character, and steady achievement.
